Thank
You

Inspired by the idea that a strong culture thrives when everyone is in sync, Culture Jam brought us together through a series of fun and engaging activities designed to highlight our company values and the unique role each team member plays in our success.

From word searches to song matches tied to our core values and plenty of friendly challenges in between, the month offered a chance to step outside our routines, spark creativity and connect with one another. Beyond the games, Culture Jam served as an important reminder of the power we have when we move in the same rhythm as One Protos Team.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped us “find our groove” this month! Your energy, spirit and collaboration are what make Protos such a great place to work. Here’s to carrying that momentum forward, together.

Unite in Action Award Nomination Form

Help Us Choose Our Next Unite in Action Award Recipients: (Who do you want to nominate…?)

Any employee within the organization (yes, that includes you!) can nominate someone for the Unite in Action Award. In fact, we need your help to make this award happen. Please nominate your colleagues and peers as you recognize them aligning with one or more of our values. An explanation of each value is below:

  • Stay Curious: We keep learning and discovering how to improve, which sometimes means changing the way we do things.
  • Build Relationships: We value the trust between our colleagues, clients, vendors and security personnel to strengthen camaraderie.
  • Take Ownership: We champion self-accountability and push boundaries to achieve shared success.
  • Be Principled: We show integrity in every decision and always do the right thing.

If you feel that a team member has gone above and beyond and displayed one or more of these values, make sure to let us know! The Unite in Action Awards will be announced monthly, but we always accept nominations through the Unite in Action Award Form.

Unite in Action Award Winners

The Unite in Action Awards will be presented to up to four employees each month. These individuals will be nominated by their peers or managers as someone who embodies our values.

Recipients receive the Unite in Action Award trophy and a branded gift!

Congratulations to our winners… drumroll please…

Erin Rahimpour, Vendor Enrollment Specialist

Protos Security

Nominated by: Morgan Boudreau

Reason: Erin exemplifies what it means to be a Protos employee, setting a standard of excellence that is hard to match. She does not just complete her work; she constantly looks for ways to elevate it. In her spare time, Erin proactively leans into processes to uncover opportunities for improvement, driving efficiency and optimization across the board. Her impact on the Compliance team has been transformational. By running a wide variety of audits, Erin has introduced a higher level of risk management that has strengthened the integrity of our entire operation. She does not wait to be asked. When a gap is identified or a new project arises, Erin is the first to step up and take ownership, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. What truly sets Erin apart is the pride and care she puts into every detail. She holds herself to the highest standards to guarantee that every vendor experiences a seamless and professional journey when entering or re-entering our network. She also goes out of her way to build strong cross-departmental relationships, seeking opportunities to shadow, learn and share insights. Her mindset is always: How can I make my colleagues’ jobs easier? At her core, Erin is principled, reliable and deeply committed to doing the right thing, always balancing what is best for vendors with what is best for Protos. She embodies ownership, collaboration and integrity in every interaction. Quite simply, Erin does not just meet expectations; she redefines them. Her consistent dedication, initiative, and impact make her not just deserving of the Unite in Action award, but impossible to overlook.

Nominated by: Richard Kuehhas

Reason: I am proud to nominate Erin Rahimpour for the Unite in Action Award in recognition of her exceptional commitment to embodying the Protos values of Stay Curious, Take Ownership, Build Relationships and Be Principled. Since joining the team in May 2024, Erin has consistently gone above and beyond, making a lasting impact on the Compliance Department and the company as a whole.

Erin’s persistent curiosity drives continuous improvement, enabling the department to refine processes that reduce liability, strengthen our vendor network and enhance our ability to be a trusted partner to both vendors and clients. She demonstrates taking ownership by taking full responsibility for every process she touches, applying her background in data analysis to identify potential liability gaps and conducting audits that proactively close them.

In her Enrollment role, Erin ensures that her new vendor’s first interaction with Protos sets a positive tone, building strong, lasting relationships that support the success of our network. Her unwavering integrity and principled decision-making not only guide her daily work but also set an example for those around her.

Erin’s dedication to our values and her impact felt across multiple areas of the business, make her highly deserving of company-wide recognition through the Unite in Action Award.

Nominated by: Joe Hartz

Reason: Erin is an absolute joy to work with every day. She approaches every task with enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a genuine desire to contribute. She’s always eager to lend a hand and consistently goes above and beyond to support her team and ensure their success. Often times when she’s completed her own work, she’ll ask where else she can contribute.

She has become the go-to person within her department, providing daily support to her colleague not only through encouragement and positivity but also by staying focused, organized and efficient in her work.

Erin exemplifies our core values in everything she does. Her dedication, reliability and selfless mindset make her truly deserving of this recognition. In my view, there’s no one more fitting for this honor.

Ashley Addair, Documentation Specialist

Securitime

Nominated by: Jerry Scott

Reason: When most of us look for volunteers, we’re simply grateful to see a hand or two raised – someone willing to take on extra work for little recognition and no promise of money or title. The simple willingness to contribute without expectation feels increasingly rare. Rarer still are those who are so driven and self-motivated that they require almost no guidance – individuals who see an opportunity not just to follow a path, but to carve their own.

That person is Ashley Addair.

When Ashley first stepped forward to help create our Securitime help documentation, my own schedule left little time for detailed instruction. Rather than wait for direction, Ashley took the initiative, “grabbing the bull by the horns,” and began documenting the most critical areas of our solution.

As time went on, Ashley honed her skills and embraced new technologies, enhancing the visual user experience with concise video walkthroughs that made software features clearer and more accessible. But her contributions didn’t stop there.

During our bi-weekly staff training calls, Ashley introduced a Securitime-themed bingo card to keep the team engaged while reinforcing our culture. She also launched the (unofficial) Securitime Monthly Newsletter, a spirited publication spotlighting events, team members, fun facts and company updates. The very first edition in July was an instant hit, once again strengthening the unique culture we’ve built together.

Ashley’s initiative, creativity and unwavering drive have set a standard for what’s possible when you bring your full effort to the table. Her promotion to Documentation Specialist, a role created specifically for her, is both well-earned and deserved.
